Lyle C. and Marguerite Martin Scholarship 2018
The Lyle C. & Marguerite Martin Scholarship is awarded to two talented, college-bound students, one from Claremont High School and one from San Antonio High School, who have exhibited outstanding personal character traits (ex. empathy, courage, perseverance, responsibility, resilience, etc.) and a strong commitment to education while in high school. Please submit your application no later than 11:59 PM on May 6, 2018.

Please write a 250-500 word essay that describes ways in which your personal characteristics (ex. empathy, courage, perseverance, responsibility, resilience, etc.) and academic achievements have been demonstrated in high school, and how your experiences position you for personal growth and success in college. This could include activities such as volunteer service or employment, coursework, leadership activities, creative or artistic endeavors, athletics, family activities, entrepreneurial ventures, and others.

Recommenders must be non-family members (e.g. teacher, advisor, project beneficiaries, project leaders, etc.) Recommendations may not come from members of the Claremont Educational Foundation Board.
